Sovereign Coachworks Ltd is a well established company who specialise in classic vehicles, cars and light commercials. We have been established for 13 years but with 35 years experience in the trade.
We are specialists in preparing and painting valuable Historic racing, Classic and Replica kit cars.
Our craftsmen reshape damaged panels using the time honoured skill of panel beating. This entails using special hammers and hand weights which are shaped to fit the desired shape of the finished panel.
With access to a Universal Bracket Jig, our panel technicians are able to measure and align new or damaged chassis members to within a tolerance of .5mm (.020"), which far exceeds the original manufacturer's specification in many cases.
We have developed a good reputation for being able to reproduce an original 'patina' on Classic cars. This is important when a high value car has been repaired and needs to blend in with the original paint work.
